We Lovingly Support These Charities

There are many worthy causes to support in our world, but we have chosen a few near and dear to our hearts and we donate 1% of our profits from every order to them each quarter. Being that we are animal people, and in memory of Melanie's mom who passed away and supported many animal charities, it goes without saying that we would choose some animal organizations.  We can only host three organizations at a time on the checkout page, so we will alternate the charities below every so often in order to spread the love.  We will also share a little bit about why we chose these particular charities to support.

Giving Blind Horses a New Vision on Life

At Les Haven Ranch in St. Ignatius, Montana, blind horses find more than just safety—they find hope, healing, and a new purpose. Dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating blind horses, the ranch provides a sanctuary designed specifically for their unique needs. For many horses, a diagnosis of blindness often comes with heartbreaking choices, including euthanasia. Les Haven Ranch is changing that narrative.  LES Haven Ranch Family and HorsesTheir mission is to prevent unnecessary euthanasia by offering education, resources, and and a compassionate home where blind horses can thrive. They also welcome visitors, creating a space where people can connect with these incredible animals and learn their stories.

This cause is especially close to our hearts. Jen once had a beloved horse who lost her eye and later passed from complications. We’ve seen firsthand how blindness doesn’t have to mean the end of a horse’s journey—it can be the start of something new. This mission also holds deep personal meaning, as my nephew, who recently passed away, was autistic, blind, and loved to ride.

The work being done at Les Haven Ranch is truly inspiring, and we’re honored to support them. If you’d like to join us in making a difference, we encourage you to learn more and support their life-changing efforts.  Learn more HERE

Woof Project specializes in rescuing the Belgian Malinois dogs from private or public shelters, who thru no fault of their own are without a secure, loving home and matches them up with loving forever families who have experience with and understand this special breed.  We have owned several Belgian Malinois's and absolutely love the breed and over the course of our ownership we have come to understand how many end up in shelters.  They are a very energetic breed that is most suited for working dog owners and not for everyone, and thru no fault of their own often end up in shelters or bad situations because most people are not prepared for their high energy and unique needs.  Woof Project does an amazing job at rescuing and placing these amazing dogs.  To learn more about Woof Project visit them here!
