There are many worthy causes to support in our world, but we have chosen a few near and dear to our hearts and we donate 1% of our profits from every order to them each quarter. Being that we are animal people, and in memory of Melanie's mom who passed away and supported many animal charities, it goes without saying that we would choose some animal organizations. We can only host three organizations at a time on the checkout page, so we will alternate the charities below every so often in order to spread the love. We will also share a little bit about why we chose these particular charities to support.
Skydog Ranch rescues wild mustangs & burros who might not be well suited to life in captivity or who have been through abuse & trauma, and allows them to live out their lives in a safe & natural environment. We own several horses of our own and both of us grew up with horses our entire lives. We've owned a couple of mustangs among many other breeds and believe that our wild mustangs are a national treasure that need protection and should be treated humanely and with respect. Woof Project specializes in rescuing the Belgian Malinois dogs from private or public shelters, who thru no fault of their own are without a secure, loving home and matches them up with loving forever families who have experience with and understand this special breed. We have owned several Belgian Malinois's and absolutely love the breed and over the course of our ownership we have come to understand how many end up in shelters. They are a very energetic breed that is most suited for working dog owners and not for everyone, and thru no fault of their own often end up in shelters or bad situations because most people are not prepared for their high energy and unique needs. Woof Project does an amazing job at rescuing and placing these amazing dogs. To learn more about Woof Project visit them here!
